Plumber#4 finally showed ...he turned out to be 70 something and had such bad knees he could barely get down in my basement then he got down there and he couldnt see ! this is not a good sign! He wrote up some report about a possible earthquake causing 2 audiocassettes to jamb the sump pump and I dont have earthquake insurance so the claim has been denied.But tomorrow a claims adjuster is due at 8:30 AM. She will finally take a look for herself and make some determinations. Pray I find favor with her! On top of that, I discovered when I had the meter read, that I have a major leak in the pipes between my house and the 300 yards to the meter! Im losing so much water that my bill is doubling daily so they shut the water off today! Both the water department and the plumber feel that this is unrelated to my flooding problems. So now I get to dig a trench 18 inches deep x 4 inches wide and 300 yards long and buy 1 inch PVC in a massive roll and find another plumber that can see !to hook up all of the pipe to my system. Spent five more hours today spreading wet stuff out on my pavement and taking pictures to document the loss. The sad thing is it looks like Ive hardly made a dent in the scope of the problem! Turning in now as Im sick and exhausted! Tomorrow is a new day!
