Pm training today at Clean Health strongman medley of 3+3 log cleans and press at 95kg into strongman sled pull at 150kg for 12m. Goal was for each round to be completed without stopping. Completed 5 rounds with 2-3 min rest between. This was to compliment my morning session of 5x2 fat bar incline pressing where I worked to 139kg for a double on a 3 bar then onto working accessory movements pronated pull ups, shoulder press and seated row. Tip for the log clean, keep that log as close as possible, be as aggressive as possible on the roll up the stomach and chest. The end of this week intensity really goes up with volume reducing before tapering on Tuesday next wk. Feeling strong and recovery is where it needs to be a week and half away from comp.
