Pnoy has the makings of a great statesman. Nothing great is ever achieved without great efforts, focus, sacrifice and suffering. Pnoy has already gathered the first three attributes. Now, he is undergoing the last test. Suffering has always been concomitant with a great mans struggle for his ideals. I have yet to see a namby-pamby, hedonistic, selfish lazybone become great in anything. Notoriety, perhaps.
