Poem Name-Pride & Prejudiced See My Back? Around the world it’s beginning to affect colors of people with simply no respect, his name is De Blasio a Mayor tried and True in a City called New York and I’m here to tell you, There is more from within this man who is guided by other, but I promise you it’s not love of a city it’s simply from color! To respect a marriage of color is truly God’s plan, a son called Dante to love as much as he can, but to talk of bigots among Solder’s in blue is wrong to his son who trusts Dad through and through, This man was elected by citizens this city throughout, some 800 languages spoken without a doubt, the trust of the people some 8 million I believe, some few understand or can really conceive, This City’s one of the greatest in the world known today, is riddled with strife and hate it can take your breath away! To respect a color of race is respected but all, Mayor there’s more than one at your beck and call! Do you give up 8 million respect of those of soldiers in blue, for the friendship of a man who cares nothing for you? He cares only for color for what he can get, I promise you Mayor he’s not done with you yet! He Calls himself Reverend yes he’s Reverend alright, who knows more of heat and none of God’s light, he loves nothing except color green, and using people and making a scene, Where Reverend now when those men in blue, were murdered and killed is standing by you? A man of God loves himself in suits with a glee, you would have to be blind to not truly see! Some 25,000 Policemen from all over the world, came to honor Rafael Ramos, as the day had unfurled, than you spoke the resentment took place, the blue wall of men as they said “about face” Are you proud because your pride shows forever through, now the greatest city in the world is turning against you, these heroes are your service who protect you with life, stop the hate in city and end all the strife! Now those who elected you are saying this is to bizarre, some are even wishing upon a star, to get this over you’ve lost the praise, and now the eyebrows are beginning to raise, You have played with a city with people so great, now all around you is conflict and hate, are you the bigger man admit you are wrong, please listen to the words of a wonderful Christian Song, Let there be peace on Earth and let it begin with me, Let there be peace on Earth the peace that was meant to be! With God our Creator Children all are we, Let us walk with each other in Perfect harmony, Let Peace begin with me let this be the moment now, with every step I take let this be my solemn Vow! To take each moment, and live each moment in peace eternally! Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with ME! I promise you Mayor I will sing it for you if you wish, I’ll walk the streets of New York so you won’t look foolish? Join me and walk with me let the people know, you care for them and that this is not a dog and pony show, It’s time to throw the hate away pride and prejudiced to, and the blue on the back of the hero’s in blue I promise will turn around for you, I know one thing my mother once taught that I have always truly believed, you are who you walk with one thing for sure the people are not deceived, Reverend is not the one City is first, and always first in heart, you better think twice before making other moves, or you’re not as smart as I thought, Remember Mayor I say to you I’ve sung Opera I’ll surely create, I’ll sing that song of Faith to the people, in the Lord’s name I’ll take away the Hate, There’s one thing for sure, always a beginning, always an eventual end, The world’s watching you don’t let pride and prejudiced be your friend!
