Poem in Your Pocket Day! Tomorrow, YRL Lobby and Special Collections Flash Exhibit Case (A-level)! Come check out our popup poetry exhibit in the YRL lobby tomorrow (Thursday, April 24th) in honor of Poem in Your Pocket Day (nationally sponsored by the Academy of American Poets), which is part of National Poetry Month celebrations. Or you can find a favorite collection in the stacks tomorrow and bring it down to the exhibit and bookmark your recommended poem. If you’re a poet yourself, or a translator of poetry – or both! - you can bring your volume to be showcased tomorrow to the lobby and/or a copy or two of a poem you’d like to share with others. And maybe you’ll discover a new poem that someone else has recommended while you’re there. There will also be a flash exhibit of pocket-sized poetry books in the Special Collections lobby (books used to be pocket-sized, after all!)!
