Poetry 101 If love were a car I’d grip the stick and shift smoothly through those gears Roll down the manual windows and let the cool summer breeze of night blow off any fears I’d listen to the engine idle and every now and then peg that redline If love were a car I’m thinking it’d definitely be a 69 Something with a lot of muscle and curves with attitude If love were a car It’d be the rare one thats always being pursued
