Poetry Corner It’s What I Want I want our touch to be more than skin to skin, but rather a connection of our souls~ I want us to do more than complete each other, we should make one another whole~ I want our intimacy to yield more than an emotional touch, but a spiritual bonding~ I want our oneness to mirror adjoined souls, communicating and responding~ I want our time together to go beyond eternity, by marrying you in my next life~ I want you and me to equal joy, you as my devoted husband, and me as your loving wife~ I want our lives to model Christianity, supplying the world with enough love to spread abroad~ I want our words, actions, and ways to be like a sweet fragrance in the very nostrils of God~ I want an agape’ love that sees no flaws, speaks no evil, shows no perverseness, and yields to no temptation~ I want a love so powerful it that enhances and thus promotes our souls salvation~ I want a married life of peace and tranquility, where an abundance of grace abounds~ I want a marriage that resembles perfection, can it, on this side of Jordan be found?
