Poinsettia Award Nominations…. Deadline fast approaching! DO YOU KNOW a small, medium, or large business making a difference in our community? Do you know of an individual or organization who has made an impact in the City of Ventura? The 18th Annual Poinsettia Awards luncheon is hosted by the Ventura Chamber of Commerce to recognize the deeds and good actions of businesses, organizations and individuals in Ventura. Additionally, in partnership with the City of Ventura and the Ventura Unified School District, several awards are given to exemplary City and School District personnel, as well as the City of Ventura’s Environmental Excellence Award. The categories include: • Large, Mid-Size, and Small Business of the Year; Citizen of the Year; Jewel Key Award; Young Professional of the Year; Non-Profit Organization of the Year; Innovative Award and City of Ventura Environmental Excellence Award. The Poinsettia Awards will be held on Thursday, December 11 from 11:30am – 2:00pm at the Marriott Ventura Beach. To register, please call Charleen @ (805) 643-7222.
