Pois Selection selected for its coming Christmas Sales weekend, a selection of Confiança soaps For the little story, Saboaria e Perfumaria Confiança was founded in Braga, in northern Portugal, in 1894. Initially specialized in Offenbach laundry soap manufacturing, Confiança enlarged its product range to perfumed soaps, fine soaps, rice-powder, eau de cologne, medicinal soaps... coming from former Portuguese colonies. In final 2005, facing an enfeebled financial situation, the company was bought by a portuguese capital risk funds company and belongs today the cosmetic group Claus Porto/Ach Brito. The Art Nouveau and Art Deco artistic influences that were proper from 20s, are still evident in today classical products of Confiança. The combination of shape, the characteristic of the soap and wrapping is an art in Confiança that passed through generations. One of Pois Selections favorite soap is the Mariposa soap, a special jewel…restyled and relaunched in a refined and traditional Portuguese packaging. Mariposa embodies the spirit of the butterfly spreading joy over the fields. The Elle french magazine also loves it!
