Polaris K-12 want to welcome you back from Thanksgiving break with a K-12 Mindfulness Week. Students, staff, and parents are invited to a simple morning meditation practice every morning December 1-5th, led by Patrick Stinson, a member of our community. Please join us if you are interested or just curious about a simple way to ease stress by developing attention and awareness of your body. Setup at 7:35am Meditation from 7:45-8:15am. Meditators are warmly encouraged to attend all sessions to receive full benefit. Supplies: Comfortable, warm, loose clothing. A couple of stiff pillows or yoga bolster to sit on. An optional blanket to wrap yourself in. At the end of the week, join us for our December Lunch & Learn starting at 11:45 on Friday. We will begin with a 15-minute meditation and then discuss how food can be a powerful tool to help you face the pace of semester’s end and the holiday season with joy and ease.
