Police Ask Public to Help ID Carjacking Suspect Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives are looking to the public to help identify a carjacking suspect. Anyone with information on the individual’s identity as asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233. On Dec. 11th, 2014, just before 9:30 pm, Spokane Police officers responded to a report of a robbery in the 1000 block of E. Sharpsburg. The victims reported that the suspect asked for a ride while they were getting gas at a station at Empire/Nevada. They gave the suspect a ride to the area of Nevada/St. Thomas More Way. When they pulled over to let her out, she displayed a handgun and told them to get out of the car. The vehicle was recovered a few hours later but was unoccupied. The suspect was described as a white female, around 30 years of age, approximately 5’4” with a medium build (see attached pictures).
