Police Blotter 3-18-2014 Cpl. Christopher Wilcox Public Information Officer Temple Police Department The following are offense reports generated by the Temple Police Department for Tuesday 3-18-2014. The Temple Police Department also allows citizens to make certain offense reports on line via the City of Temple Website at templetx.gov/reportacrime. 4:30 AM: Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1600 block of Case Road. The suspect assaulted a family / household member resulting in minor injuries and pain to the victim. Jerald Chee, a 35 year old Temple man, was taken into custody without incident. 8:17 AM: Officers responded to a warrant service in to 3600 block of Profit Place. Officers arrived on scene and identified the subject that had an outstanding arrest warrant for parole violations. Christopher Johnson, a 27 year old Temple man was taken into custody without incident. 8:53 AM: Officers conducted a warrant service in to 1200 block of S. 17th Street. Officers knew a subject with several active arrest warrants was hiding inside the residence. Officers asked if the suspect was inside, explained the penalty for hindering his apprehension, and were initially told that he was not by a female. Officers received consent to search the residence and located the wanted male hiding under a pile of clothes. Ruben Anzaldua, a 27 year old Temple man, was taken into custody for the warrants. Valerie Rodriguez, a 41 year old Temple woman, was taken into custody and charged with hindering apprehension. 8:53 AM: Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of S.W. HK Dodgen Loop. The driver of the vehicle was found to be operating the car with an invalid driver’s license and at the time of this offense the suspect had previously been convicted of driving while license invalid. Heriberto Sotelo, a 37 year Abilene old man, was taken into custody without incident. 10:08 AM: Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of S. 17th Street. The driver of the vehicle was found to be operating the car with an invalid driver’s license and at the time of this offense the suspect had previously been convicted of driving while license invalid. Flemmon Cox Jr., a 28 year old Temple man, was taken into custody without incident. 11:06 AM: Officers investigating a dog bite complaint in the 3900 block of Tem Bell Road found one suspect with multiple active arrest warrants from the Bell County Sheriff’s Department. Kaleigh Harris, a 23 year old Temple woman, was taken into custody without incident. 11:07 AM: Officers were dispatched “Wal-Mart”, 3401 S. 31st Street in reference to a theft report. Complainant reported that a suspect entered and removed merchandise from a retail store with a value of less than $50.00 and failed to render proper payment. Citation issued 2:26 PM: Complainant reported to the Temple Police Department that a juvenile suspect had left their residence without the parent / guardian’s knowledge or consent. Runaway report generated 2:54 PM: Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 7500 block of Honeysuckle. The driver of the vehicle was discovered to have an active arrest warrant from the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office. Kelly Hosch, a 34 year old Temple woman, was taken into custody for the warrant. 4:19 PM: Officer responded to a complaint of an assault in the 1800 block of E. Avenue K. Victim reported that a known suspect had allegedly assaulted the complainant resulting in minor injuries and pain. Investigation is ongoing 5:31 PM: Complainant in the 400 block of N. 31st Street reported that two (2) suspects made unwanted physical contact with the victim that was offensive to the victim. Investigation is ongoing 5:37 PM: Officers conducted a warrant service in the 2300 block of Upland Bend Drive. Officers located and identified the subject that was named in the active arrest warrant. During the arrest the suspect resisted the officers’ efforts. William Keller, a 45 year old Temple man, was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest 5:42 PM: Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of E. Adams Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was found to be operating the car with an invalid driver’s license and at the time of this offense the suspect had no proof of liability insurance. Martin Hutchins, a 20 year old Houston man, was taken into custody without incident. 3:04 PM: Complainant in the 200 block of Woodbridge Boulevard reported an unknown suspect had damaged the property another without the owner’s knowledge or consent. Investigation is active 6:24 PM: Complainant called officers to the intersection of S. 5th Street and W. Avenue D. Subject found drug paraphernalia in a storage locker purchased at auction. Items placed into evidence and an information report generated. 7:47 PM: Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of E. Avenue C. The driver of the vehicle was found in possession of an amount of marijuana. Fabian Banda, a 21 year old Temple man, was taken into custody without incident. 7:47 PM: Officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of S. 23rd Street and W. Avenue H. The driver of the vehicle was found to have an active arrest warrant from Falls County Sheriff’s Office. Aaron Robinson, a 32 year old Temple man, was taken into custody without incident. 9:52 PM: Officer dispatched a domestic disturbance in the 2400 block of S. 13th Street. The suspect assaulted a family / household member resulting in minor injuries and pain to the victim. Walter Engman III, a 27 year old Temple man, was taken into custody without incident. ####
