Today (September 25, 2014) Police Chief Mark Williamss secretary- Julie Walters officially retired from the Utica Police Department. A surprise party was held this morning at the Utica Police Departments roll call room. Mrs. Walters was employed by the City of Utica for 26 years and spent the last 13 years as the executive secretary to the Chief of Police. Police Chief Mark Williams, on behalf of all the members of the Utica Police Department, wish Julie and her family all the best as you enter into a new phase of your life. She is beloved and respected throughout the police department and by the many citizens who she came in contact with.
