Police Offers Money To Citizens To Help Arrest Escaped Criminal Police Director Chris Massaquoi By: MOHAMMED A. KROMAH The Government of Liberia through the Liberia National Police has announced that it will give huge sum of money to an individual who will disclose the whereabouts of the remaining five of the eight alleged criminals that broke jail at the Monrovia Central Prison. According to Police spokesman Sam Collins, the Liberia National Police and the Ministry of Justice have put aside what he described as “huge sum of money” to anyone that will disclose the location of the remaining five escaped criminals, but did not state the amount of the money that will be given. The Police spokesman disclosed that they (Liberia National Police) were successful in arresting three of the eight “notorious” criminals who were involved in the jail break. Mr. Collins said one was caught at his mother’s residence while the other two were arrested during the Liberia National Police regular night patrol. Mr. Collins speaking on the UN Radio Monday disclosed that a famous criminal called “Grand Pa Doe” not the Lonestar of Liberia player was also arrested. The One time Journalist now Police mouthpiece said that an alleged criminal “Grand Pa Doe” reportedly broke jail in Harper, Maryland County and managed to enter Sinoe County, the area in which he was arrested. He maintained that the Liberia National Police (LNP) will ensure that the remaining five of the eight criminals that was allegedly involved in the jail break will be arrested. Spokesman Sam Collins said that the general public can be assured that the Liberia National Police will ensure that Liberians are protected and safe as the day draws closer for the celebration of the 166 Independence Day of the Republic Of Liberia. It was reported in the Media that about a week ago, eight alleged “notorious” criminals broke jail and was on the run but the Liberia National Police have launched a hunt for the escapees in which they have succeeded in arresting three out of the eight.
