Police Seek the Publics Help in Locating the Vehicle/Driver Associated with the Hit Skip of Pedestrian, Victim in Serious Condition: The Cleveland Division of Police Accident Investigation Unit is currently seeking the public’s help in locating the vehicle and driver associated with the hit skip of a pedestrian on August 13, 2014. The victim, a male in his early 20s, was walking on East 55th Street at Lexington Avenue at about 6:55am when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle which was either a dump truck with a trailer or an auto that was passing a dump truck with a trailer. The victim sustained serious injuries and is being treated at MetroHealth Medical Center. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact accident investigators at 216-623-5295.
