Police appeal after an aggravated robbery - Homebush West Thursday, 25 December 2014 03:37:37 AM Police are appealing for witnesses after an aggravated robbery at Homebush west last night. About 9pm (Wednesday 24 December 2014), a 20-year-old man was walking on The Crescent, Homebush West, as he walked under the overpass of Marlborough Road, two men approached him. One of the men pushed the 20-year-old to the ground and second man punched him in the head. A third man approached them, demanding the man on the ground hand over cash. He complied and then the third man punched him in the face. The three men threatened the man and then left the area. A short time later, the injured man contacted police and Flemington Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation. The injured man received cuts to his face. Investigators would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or has information that may assist with their inquiries. One man was described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern in appearance, in his late 20’s, dark hair and he was wearing a dark jumper and jeans. The second man was described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern in appearance, in his late 20’s and he was wearing a black hooded jumper. The third man was described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern in appearance, in his late 20’s, he was wearing a long sleeved hooded jumper and a dark baseball cap.
