Police are appealing for information in relation an incident that took place in the Great Yarmouth yesterday involving a nine year old girl. At about 4.45pm yesterday afternoon in the Blackfriars Road area of Yarmouth a man approached the girl and attempted to entice her into a white van. She refused and then fled the scene. The man didn’t pursue her and the girl was unhurt in the incident. Police would also take this opportunity to remind young people that they should not talk to strangers and to tell a parent, teacher or police officer straight away if they are approached by someone suspicious.
