Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Scarborough. The victim, a 19-year-old local man, was punched outside the Opera House Casino on St Thomas Street sometime between 3.30am and 4am on Sunday 11 August 2013. He was taken to Scarborough District Hospital where he was treated for a minor injury to his ribs. Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward with information. If you can help officers with their enquiries contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 - select option 2 - and ask for PC Chris Stephenson or Scarborough police.
