Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Sheffield, in which a pedestrian sustained serious injuries. At around 11.05am on Saturday 17 January, it is reported that a blue Hyundai I20 was travelling along Barnsley Road, Sheffield, heading towards the city. Near to the junction with Kinnaird Avenue, it is reported that the Hyundai was in collision with a 38-year-old woman. The woman was taken to hospital, where she remains in a critical but stable condition. Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision.
