Police are appealing to the public to help trace distinctive jewellery which was stolen from a house in Illogan in Cornwall. Offenders smashed the glass in a rear door to get inside the property in the Park Bottom area sometime between 11am and 2.50pm on Tuesday 5 August. After carrying out an untidy search of all rooms they escaped with a quantity of cash, a Panasonic Lumix camera, and three distinctive bracelets. Taken were an easily identifiable Egyptian bracelet (pictured) and two silver charm bracelets, one with five charms including a stork and bear and the second carrying nine charms including a church, key, tankard and pair of ballet shoes (both pictured). Police are keen to hear from any second hand dealers and jewellers who may have been offered the bracelets for sale. Officers are also appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious individuals or vehicles in the area at the time of the burglary to contact them. Please contact Devon and Cornwall Police on 101, quoting crime reference CR/095788/14.
