Police are continuing their search for an 11-month-old boy, who is the subject of an Ambert Alert, and his father after the toddlers mother was found dead on Monday and stuffed inside a refrigerator in her southwest Houston apartment. The alert was issued for Achilles Lambert, born last January, and his father Patrick Lambert, 38. Police say the child may be in danger. On Tuesday, authorities said the woman was stabbed to death. She has been identified as 27-year-old Anastacia Oaikhena Lambert. Weve been unable to contact any family to help see if the child is with anybody else, Sgt. Jason Robles, an HPD homicide detective, said Monday. Police said they concluded the woman is the mother of the child because of evidence they found inside the apartment. They have not determined if Patrick Lambert is the womans husband. There has been a male seen staying there on and off, Robles said. Were looking for him solely as a person of interest. There was no obvious struggle inside the apartment. Police said someone spotted the woman and the child at the complex about a week ago. Maintenance workers at the Braeswood Oaks apartments noticed a strong odor about 2:30 p.m. Monday coming from a second floor unit at the complex in the 10500 block of Fondren. Employees at the complex discovered the womans body inside a refrigerator. Employees said the woman had lived there since June. Its very sad. Theres going to be a grieving family, said Susan Washington, who has lived at the complex for nearly 25 years. Police dont know how long the body had been in the refrigerator. The power was turned off on Nov. 20 because the utility bills werent paid. But HPD investigators said the woman had not been facing eviction from the apartment. This is a very quiet apartment complex. Everybody comes together when something is going on, Washington said. Police said later Monday they had no information about a motive. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. chron/news/houston-texas/houston/article/Woman-s-body-found-in-fridge-5943467.php
