Police are hunting two men who raided a newsagents in St Asaph while armed with a hammer. The men made off with cash from the City News & Video store on Chester Street at around 10.30pm on Friday night - they had told the shop assistant to empty the till before they fled towards Gemig Street. Detectives described the first man as around 5 ft 4 inches tall and of slim build with a pale complexion, short black untidy hair and jet black eyebrows. He wore a black jacket over a hooded top. The other man is said to be tall and of stocky build and was wearing jeans, a dark knitted hat and a zip up tracksuit top. Both men were white and wearing jeans. Anyone who saw the incident or knows the robbers identities should contact St Asaph CID on 101 (ref R014981) or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
