Police are investigating a stabbing and attempt robbery which occurred in the early hours of the morning at Salisbury Downs. At about 2am, the male victim, a was walking alone on Demille Street when he was approached by a man brandishing a knife. The man threatened the victim with the knife and demanded his property. A struggle broke out between the pair and the victim was stabbed in the arm and body. During the struggle, a second offender appeared, and also fought with the victim. The victim managed to run off and contact police. He was treated at hospital for his injuries. The suspects are described as men, both were wearing hooded jackets, and one spoke with a deep voice. Police ask anyone with information that may assist police with the investigation, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
