Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Klemzig last night. At about 10.15pm, the victim was walking on Second Avenue, having come from the Klemzig interchange, when he was approached by three men. The group threatened the 23-year-old with scissors and hit him in the back of the head knocking him to the ground before stealing his back pack. The suspects fled and the victim sought help from a member of the public at a nearby home. Police arrived and searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. The victim sustained minor injuries. The back pack contained personal belongings including a Samsung Galaxy note, foreign passport, cash, bank cards and other identification. Two of the suspects are described as men, aged between 20-30 years and both wearing hooded jumpers. One is described as being of Aboriginal appearance and the other Caucasian appearance. There is no description of the third suspect. Police urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that may assist with the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers.
