Police are investigating an aggravated serious criminal trespass which occurred at Ferryden Park earlier this morning. Just before 5.30am, police were called to a house in Lachlan Street after a man forced his way inside. The 45-year-old victim was woken by noises coming from the front of his house and found a man manipulating the front door. The suspect then threatened the victim with a knife and demanded cash. The victim ran to the back of his house and a short time later heard his car drive off. The victim was not physically injured. Police were then called to Renown Park, after the victims car was found dumped in Tait Street a short time later. The suspect is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, about 160cm tall, skinny build and wearing a dark jumper.
