Police have charged a suspended driver with high-range drink driving after a crash in Sydney eastern suburbs last night. About 9.35pm (Saturday 21 June 2014), a Range Rover travelling north on OSullivan Road in Bellevue Hill crashed into three unoccupied parked vehicles before rolling onto its side. The 43-year-old woman driving the Range Rover was not injured; however her vehicle, and two of the parked cars, needed to be towed from the scene. Police from Rose Bay Local Area Command submitted the woman to a roadside breath-test, which returned a positive reading. She was arrested and taken to Waverley Police station, where it’s alleged a subsequent breath-analysis returned a reading of 0.181. Checks revealed the woman’s drivers licence had also been suspended. She was charged with high-range drink driving and driving whilst suspended. The woman has been issued a Field Court Attendance Notice to attend Waverley Local Court on Tuesday 5 August 2014.
