Police have charged two men following a fight at a fast food restaurant in the CBD this morning. Police and NSW Ambulance were called to the corner of George and Liverpool streets about 2.30am (Sunday 1 June 2014), responding to reports of a fight. NSW Ambulance Paramedics treated two men at the scene before they were taken to Sydney Hospital, one with a suspected broken nose. Officers from Sydney City Local Area Command arrested four men at the scene and they were taken to Day Street Police Station. A 23-year-old man was charged with affray, he was given conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday 24 June 2014. A 25-year-old man was charged with affray, he was also given conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday 24 June 2014. The remaining two men were released pending further investigation. Investigators continue to interview witnesses about the incident and are appealing for anyone who may have information about the incident to make contact with the authorities.
