Police have commenced investigations after more than 300 cannabis plants were seized at a home in Yennora yesterday. About 11am yesterday (Wednesday 6 August 2014), officers attached to the Wetherill Park Region Enforcement Squad and Holroyd Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a unit on Norrie Street, suspected of being used to cannabis in a sophisticated hydroponic step-up. During the search, police allegedly seized over 300 cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of just over $940,000. No one was at the location at the time of the search warrant; however two men of Asian appearance were seen leaving the premises earlier in the day in a blue Honda Accord sedan. Detectives continue their investigations and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
