Police have concluded their investigation into an alleged incident inside a nightclub at Potts Point over the weekend. About 1:30am, Sunday 11 May 2014, officers from Kings Cross Local Area Command attended a licensed premise on Roslyn Street, when they received a complaint about a patron. A 25-year-old man was spoken to by police before being asked to leave and escorted outside by security. The man was arrested after allegedly becoming argumentative with police and refusing to leave the area. He was taken to Kings Cross Police Station where he was issued with an infringement notice for failing to leave licensed premises when required. He was also issued a 48-hour banning notice. Detectives conducted further investigations into the matter including reviewing closed-circuit television footage and making an appeal for anyone with information to come forward. About 10pm last night (Monday 12 May 2014), a woman made contact with police and spoke to investigators. The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, declined to make a statement to police and did not wish to proceed with any further action. No further police action will be taken regarding the incident.
