Police have located a child who was reported missing with a man from her home in Sydney’s west. About 4pm yesterday (Thursday 21 November 2013), a 40-year-old man left a home on Sedgman Crescent at Shalvey with the two-year-old girl. Concerns were held for their welfare and officers from Mt Druitt Local Area Command launched an extensive search for the pair. About 11.45pm the man and child were located by police at a home in Willmot. Police are satisfied there are no further concerns for their welfare. Police would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in broadcasting the child alert.
