Police in Colorado are searching for a man who decided to rob a store and then abruptly changed his mind. The unusual incident unfolded on Tuesday when he entered a Quick Save convenience store in Arvada, Colorado. Right after walking through the doors, the male in typical robber attire, took a look at the clerk and made a few gestures that were indicative of his surprise. It turns out, just looking at the employee helped him decide against robbing the shop, as the would-be robber recognized him. He said “I was going to rob this place, but I know you and then asked the other man if he knew him. Given that a hoodie was covering the top of his head and a bandana concealed most of the suspect’s features, the clerk said that he did not. To that, the robber just replied ‘good’ and then gave an epic thumbs up before leaving. Via Facebook, the Jefferson County Sherriff’s Office posted “File this in the You Just Cant Make This Stuff Up File and please give us a call if you know who this Thumbs Up Suspect is.” Police also mentioned a crime that occurred shortly after the Quick Save incident at a nearby 7-Eleven was robbed by a suspect with a similar description.
