Police need help in identifying man who threatened Wal Mart loss prevention associate. Winter Haven Police is requesting the public to help identify the male pictured below. On 8-5-14 at approximately 8 p.m., the man was in Wal Mart (7450 Cypress Gardens Blvd., Winter Haven) cutting packages of pottery open with a razor blade and concealing the items in a fanny pack. A loss prevention officer discovered the suspect and began watching him. The suspect ultimately threatened bodily harm to the loss prevention officer and charged him, pinning the associate against a counter. The associate was not hurt. The suspect fled the store in a gray or silver Jeep Cherokee. The male suspect appears to be Hispanic in his 30s wearing a white undershirt, navy shorts, gray shoes with orange shoe laces and a cell phone with a red or orange case. He has a wrap-around tattoo on his right bicep.
