Police use Taser to arrest man A man was taken into custody after police alleged he failed to follow their commands. Kenosha Police went to a parking lot behind an apartment building in the 4700 block of 36th Avenue around 2:50 a.m. Wednesday. Kenosha Police Department reports said the offers were responding to reports of possible gunshots fired in the area. As officers searched the area, a man identified as Robert D. Rhodes-Chambers, 31, of Kenosha, allegedly started running at them. The police officers ordered him to stop and get down on the ground, but Rhodes-Chambers allegedly ignored them and kept walking toward them, grabbing his waistband. Officers repeated the orders again, and when he still ignored them, they shot him twice with a Taser, then took him into custody on suspicion of disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer. The reports of gunshots turned out to be a window breaking at the nearby home of a man arrested in a stabbing earlier.
