*****Police warn trouble makers in Ekiti***** Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Taiwo Lakanu, has warned trouble makers against breach of peace in the state. Lakanu said the command would use all mechanisms at its disposal to deal with any person or group planning to foment trouble in the state. A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Victor Babayemi, in Ado Ekiti yesterday, said some hoodlums from outside the state were planning an invasion to wreak havoc. He said the ‘hooligans’ were working in concert with disgruntled elements to execute their ‘evil plan’. The commissioner advised that any person or group with no lawful business to steer clear of the state, in their own interest. He urged the people of the state to vigilant, and mindful of unfamiliar faces by reporting strange movements and activities to the police, for prompt action.
