Policing the Police outspoken mayor of Rotterdam, The Netherlands, decided to flat-out say what’s on the minds of hundreds of millions of freedom loving people around the world. What’s more, he said it on live TV following the Paris terrorist attack: “If you can’t accept humorists who create a newspaper, then I would like to say ‘F*** off!” Mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb, a Moroccan born Muslim who has lived in the Netherlands since 1976, was interviewed last week following the Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris. Breitbart News reported that the mayor had a specific message for radical Islamists who fight against the Western world: “It is incomprehensible that you can turn against freedom. But if you don’t like freedom, for heaven’s sake pack your bags and leave.” Aboutaleb, the son of a Muslim imam, worked as a Dutch journalist before being appointed mayor in 2008, continued to lay out his thoughts: “This is stupid, this so incomprehensible. Vanish from the Netherlands if you cannot find your place here. All those well-meaning Muslims here will now be stared at.” It’s not the first time he’s laid bare the problem of radical Islamists. Speaking before the Hague last September, he said: “Anyone who expresses support for terror as a means to overthrow our constitutional democracy, as far as I’m concerned, should leave the country at once. If you are waving an Islamic State [IS] flag, you are waving an exit ticket. Leave!”
