Political Thought: To refer to a murder victim as no angel or any other victim for that matter is to imply that they (the victim) deserved what they got. This idea of dehumanizing a group of people or an individual to justify violence is a pseudo form of civic religion in America, that is a far cry from the radical reform movement started by Jesus the Christ. The truth is none of us are angels and we have all fallen short so mercy should abound!
