Political nonsense. I have quit updating posts and commenting - TopicsExpress

Political nonsense. I have quit updating posts and commenting on politics in Nigeria for sometime now. And that is simply because i have lost faith in the present crop of political players. All i see is some sort of political doldrum, a contest of mediocrity, and a challenge of whose mess is messier. Folks of the same stock! After a deep thought, i found that truly a people deserve the leaders they get. Fayose-ism in Ekiti State comes to my mind. Fayose-ism is the government of the ignorant masses that desecrates their last hope, that is, the Judiciary. What a loss for sanity. Fashola-ism is that political ideology that resonates well with my intellect for now. Infact, it is the only reason i see a light at the end of this long and narrow tunnel. Fashola-ism is progressive indeed, and this has nothing to do with APC (more like ABC- All Backwarders Congress). Buharism for me is a generational thief. That political ideology that seeks to promote political senility as opposed to generational prosperity. The only thing i have for Buharism is pity and sympathy. I respect his doggedness and resilience in fighting to steer the affairs of the most populous black people on earth, but thats all. No more admiration. Buharism is the movement that is inherently undemocratic because it fails to acknowledge the fact that democracy is inherently a concept driven by change, and the more we age, the less likely we are to herald change, no matter how well-meaning we are. Jonathan-ism is the political ideology with no ideology. Anything goes. Its like the judeo-christian mantra that says: Come as you are. This is the reason corruption is skyrocketing and will continue to skyrocket, insecurity will flourish and the economy will be deformed (as opposed to transformed). This may also be why all the joneses are defecting to this ideology; perhaps because it is a safe haven for the rotten lot. Jonathan-ism is nerveless, spineless and brainless, exactly what an already corrupt system need to blossom. Such a concept can only fledge in a political clime that encourages opportunism. Really, i have lost faith in the political landscape that i dont even bother to comment on the charade they call Political Parties. I cannot wait to see death wipe out this Biafra Civil War generation of politicians (especially those in their 60s & 70s), so that a New Dawn (hopefully) may come. #truthisscarierthanreality.
