Political notes ....how disingenuous mayoral candidate Christine Quinn for saying she took leadership on the issue of stop and frisk .For years as the number of stop and frisk soared her and billy Thompson were silent and missing in action .It was only after opposition grew that they began to speak .Millions of Black and Latinos were stopped and frisked before Quinn and Thompson found their voice . While one of the greatest mass civil rights violation took place...they remained silent................... So the same Daily News who endorsed Romney over Obama and Bloomberg is endorsing Christine Quinn for mayor .Looks like the news is ready to embrace a " Bloomberg lite" administration .Are you ?
