Politicians, I believe are the devils advocates: This economic - TopicsExpress

Politicians, I believe are the devils advocates: This economic globalization is 1 of the reasons poverty is so strong around the world. Why is little old New Zealand worried about solving other countries issues when there is enough issues here in New Zealand to solve? Why is there so many hungry and homeless people (children included) in New Zealand and exporters are still exporting all of the locally grown food around the world? Why is it that we dont hear from big rich companies like Fontera and the rich farmers that are associated to Fontera until they are struggling (mainly due to poor management) and then they can ask the tax payer to bail them out? But when they are thriving, the price of milk still goes up and we dont tend to hear from them then? Why is there a minimum wage and no maximum wage? Why are we supporting the rich? Who said we have to pay taxes? When do we get a say in where this money goes? I dont need most of the things government spend our taxes on so why should I pay for something I dont want or need? Why does money get you out of legal prosecution? Man I could go on for ever talking about how miss managed and unequal New Zealand is. People are wondering why there is so much crime? Let me tell yah, People are in survival mode and doing what they have to do in order to live. You may even wonder why there is so much war in the world. Im sure poverty has something to do with it. And politicians and the rich which tend to be the same family are the cause of that. Do we have to go to war in our own country to be heard and appreciated in this new world? If we carry on doing what we are doing, we will continue to get what weve been getting... Voting is one way you can be heard.. Kinda.. But how long do we go down this track? What have politician actually done for us?
