Politicians have become so adept at lying that I’m wondering if even they don’t remember what they say. Whatever is expedient, whatever the moment calls for, whatever (in their minds) will get them through the next interview, they say. How do they have the audacity to do this so blatantly? Very simple answer; we let them. The left media only challenges those on the right and vice versa. Most of the voters don’t think in terms of principles, right and wrong, constitution, law, etc. They think in terms of party, personal gratification, and emotion. The fact that the vast majority of politicians are morally bankrupt and are slaves to situational ethics, allows them to simply see the voter dysfunction as an opportunity.
