Politics - thinking about politics. With the November mid-term elections just 4 months away, thinkin about to what extent I might get involved in any aspect of politics this Fall. Locally - regionally - nationally - internationally - I think this crazy old world needs a good shake-up, with Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren being the kind of elected leaders that I think this country needs a lot more of on every level. Locally, I think Rep. Dan Meffei will not face a Green Party challenger this year, which should make it easier for progressives, liberals, and moderates of all stripes to support Dan against his Republican opponent. Imho, the best thing that could happen to Congress this Fall is for the House to go Democratic. Throw those Republican obstructionist bums out !!
