Politics aside, I find the DPP manifesto, concise and characteristic of a party which knows exactly what it wants to do and how to do it....Take the issue of transforming Malawi from an importing and consuming nation to a producing and exporting nation. One way it will achieve this is by investing heavily in science and technology so that, the country can embark on value addition, but also research in efficient production procesess to produce competitive products on the international market. To ensure coordinated financing of research and development, the government will strengthen the Commission for Science and Technology to manage research grants to all sectors of the economy. Vote Wisely, Vote APM, Vote DPP!
