Politics of Genuflection Politics is the universal instrument used in running peoples lives and when misused, it can only ruin lives. Instead of Nigerian youth to concentrate on the germane issues pertaining how they would be governed in the next four years, they pertinaciously kow-tow to politically inept, insane leaders seeking support for the same office held previously without tangible achievements. Imagine the youth of my generation creating political in-fighting in the social pow-wow among themselves because of these morally corrupt, disgruntled elements who are frantically ingratiating themselves with us by offering lies but calling it manifestoes. Stories of exemplary lives serve as beacons or signposts on the way of life to teach and instruct to guide and encourage other way- fairer to reach fulfilment. For life to be worth living, one should have an ideal or value to pursue, a hallmark to attain. Which hallmark we youth dream to attain other than genuflect the insane, inept existing leadership. Ours is a crazy world and we gladly worship craziness of politicians who are concerned with next election at detriment of next generation. In the Northeast of the country, generation has been wiped off because of inflammatory utterances and negligence of these self-centred old fools. Stay in your comfort zone and preach hate against me, I , Awelewa, cannot stand that ingratiating manner of these fuddy-duddies to ruin lives of next generation like they are doing to ours.
