Polito Pieres going to 10? After just two weeks of play it - TopicsExpress

Polito Pieres going to 10? After just two weeks of play it might be a bit early to make any predictions, but the performances of Villa Del Lago 9-goaler Polito Pieres are certainly making a case for the Argentine to have his handicap raised to the ultimate 10-goals, joining an exclusive club that numbers less than one hundred since the creation of the handicapping system in 1888. Polito Pieres was named MVP of the 2013 Argentine Open final despite the fact that his Alegria team lost to La Dolfina. Following the 2014 Argentine high-goal season Polito had his handicap elevated to 10-goals. Polito Pieres led the Villa Del Lago team (Jim Zenni, Agustin Obregon and Julian de Lusarreta) to the final of the season-opening Herbie Pennell Cup, and is currently the scoring leader in the 20-goal Joe Barry memorial Cup competition with 21goals scored in just two games. Polito Pieres has been demonstrating skills that have not been seen in either Adolfo Cambiaso or Facundo Pieres and will be joining his cousins, Facundo Pieres, Gonzalito Pieres and Nico Pieres, on the Ellerstina polo team in Argentina this fall. So the question remains, “Will he go to 10-goals in the United States?” Watch and make that decision for yourself. Villa Del Lago returns to the field on Sunday when they face Lechuza Caracas and 10-goaler Juan Martin Nero.
