Pollinators, and particularly the honey bee, are vital for the pollination of many of the foods we enjoy eating. As part of our bee health commitment, we have initiated our Bee Care Program and established two Bayer Bee Care Centers. The first center at Monheim, Germany opened in 2012. The North American Bee Center, located at our facilities in North Carolina, USA opened in April this year. Through these centers, we are continuing stakeholder dialog and collaboration and understanding of bee health.
