Polling stations review Hull City Council is conducting a review of its polling districts and polling places. The review looks at the suitability of polling station premises across the city. As part of this, the Council is asking residents to give feedback on allocated polling places. Ian Anderson, Town Clerk said: “We want to ensure that it is as easy as possible for residents to vote in elections. To ensure this, we are conducting a review of the city’s districts and polling venues. “We would like residents to let us know of any issues relating to current polling premises, and also make suggestions for alternative venues.” Details of the existing arrangements and polling stations are available on the Council’s website at hullcc.gov.uk search elections and voting, or by contacting the Electoral Services Office at the Guildhall on 01482 613386. To have your say about polling venues complete the form online at hullcc.gov.uk and search polling stations consultation, or pick up a form at the Guildhall or the Wilson Centre. In accordance with the Electoral Administration Act 2006 each local authority is required to conduct reviews of its polling districts, polling places and polling stations.
