Polling the group for feedback: planning to buy an intercom in the next few months. What Ive read so far is it seems everyone here is sold on the Sena, and specifically the SMH10 I believe. My question is, why is the 10 worth ~$100 (US) more for a pair than the SMH-5? My priorities are a LOUD intercom between two bikes only with no passengers. 2nd priority: being able to listen to music from my phone via Bluetooth. Way distant 3rd priority: maybe take a phone call someday. I dont have any other electronics to connect with (GPS, radar detector, etc.). Full face helmet, think Id prefer helmet speakers and earplugs. Especially interested in feedback from anyone who might have actually used both. --Is there a difference in sound volume output between the two? --I know theres a difference in range: any comments on the real-life impact of that? --Sounds like maybe the 5 is push-to-talk only whereas the SMH-10 has VOX? Confirmation? Thanks in advance!
