Polls today: Populus: Labour 36%, Con 32%, UKIP 13%, Lib Dems 9%, Greens 6% YouGov: Labour 33%, Conservatives 31%, UKIP 17%, Greens 8%, Lib Dems 7% On these shares of the vote (Assuming a massive SNP lead in Scotland), this election would be too close to call. I would give a range of possibilities, with Labour having a majority of 10 being the upper limit for Labour on the YouGov figures, the lowest figure will be a small Conservative lead overall in seats in a hung parliament (Due to Labour not doing as well as it should in several key marginals.) The most likely result would be Labour well short of a majority, by about 20-30 seats, but 15-20 seats ahead of the Tories. So you can see just how close the election will be if these figures remain the same.
