PolyU Design students worked with MINI Hong Kong to bring art and technology together in MINI PULZE, the first-ever interactive multi-sensorial showroom experience in Hong Kong. The MINI PULZE installation is the joint output of students from Advertising, Industrial & Product, and Visual Communication Design disciplines who were inspired by the Italian artist Paolo Scirpa. You can turn the show car into a DJ booth to make different combinations of lighting, sound and music by turning the steering wheel, stepping on the accelerator and pressing different buttons on the dashboard. PolyU Design has worked with the company for the credit-based Co-operative Workshop for years. The subject aims at providing final year students with opportunities to join collaborative projects sponsored by clients in a real-life setting.
