Pondy Ride We witnessed an accident on the ECR on the return, 20 kms off Pondy. Two bikes Pulsar and FZ with pillion and riders helmet were just kerchiefs thought they could do better, as usual kept ripping along. At one point a scattered cattle came across and to avoid Pulsar braked, lost traction and finally kissed the ground. The rider of the Pulsar was badly bruised and bleeding from head though was conscious. He could not stand on his feet and he was put on another guys shoulder like a baby. Luckily there was a hospital nearby and an autorickshaw helped them. Now who could we blame for such accidents? Its his folks at home must be going through greater pain than that guy. Is that what he wants? Getting intimidated on the road and reacting to it is leading nowhere but putting ourselves in tight situations. Its not common to see accidents but riding gears could have saved some major impact. After all, none would take a lesson, we will find some jerk or the other hugging the tarmac. This will continue...
